While the first Prime Day deals kick off next week, shoppers can still save on tons of major purchases in the run-up. Right now, for example, shoppers can save up to $200 on Amazon Fire TV Series 4 4K UHD smart TVs. Normally retailing for $470, the 43-inch version of this smart TV is now just $360.
You can also pick up the 50-inch and 55-inch versions of this TV on sale, which range from $436 to $460 instead of its regular price of $600 to $660.

This smart TV comes equipped with Fire TV built-in, which allows you to connect to streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and more. With the included Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote, you can even control your entertainment with the sound of your voice.
The TV features 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, and HLG to deliver a clearer, more vibrant picture with brighter colors compared to 1080p Full HD.
What buyers say
Backed by a 4.5-star rating from over 1,300 customer reviews, Amazon shoppers love this smart TV for its superior picture quality and affordable price.
“Amazon’s new 4K smart TVs are a hit,” commented one reviewer.
“Can’t beat the price of this TV,” wrote another. They added that “the picture is sharp and beautiful”, while the TV was “very easy” to set up before use.
Another buyer added that “colors are great,” while one reviewer reported that its picture and sound are “really good considering this is a budget unit.”
Some reviewers have stated that this model is not ideal for gaming as there may be a slight picture lag, though others report that it is still an excellent option “for casual TV viewing”.
Since this version of Fire TV doesn’t support hands-free voice control or two-way video calls, Amazon recommends checking out the Fire TV Omni Series (the 65″ is currently on sale too!) if those features interest you.
Verdict
It’s not often that you find 4K TVs at such an affordable price, so now is the perfect time to invest in an Amazon Fire TV. It comes packed with all the smart tech you need to stay connected to all your streaming services, and sounds for under $400.
While this TV may not be the best choice for those who enjoy spending hours playing video games or looking for hands-free voice control, it’s still a solid choice for everyday streaming and entertainment viewing.
