I recreated Hailey Bieber’s makeup look

>p>Knowing me is knowing that I love Hailey Bieber. Although I have never met her in person, I love finding inspiration from her in her fashion, hairstyles, and more recently her makeup. A few weeks ago, Bieber shared her typical makeup routine in a two-part TikTok video and broke down the exact products she uses to get her signature look. Since she already had some of the products she wears on hand, she wanted to see if she could recreate her look at home. I followed Bieber’s makeup routine to the letter (well, almost, more on that later), and TBH, I think I nailed it.

Bieber mentions in his first video that the night before he had used Tan Luxe The Hydrating Self-Tan Water ($48), so the night before trying out his full makeup routine, I also gave my face a few spritzes. The next morning, I followed in Bieber’s footsteps by using a vitamin C serum, moisturizer, and EltaMD UV Clear Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF ($41).

Next, I used Kosas Revealer Concealer ($28) and applied it under my eyes, on the sides of my nose, and on my forehead between the eyebrows. I then blended everything together with a damp beauty sponge. Bieber doesn’t wear any foundation in his video, and while the tinted sunscreen gave me a little bit of coverage, it wasn’t much and it definitely felt a little weird not wearing any foundation at all.

I then applied blush using shade 204 from the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Face Essentials Palette ($83). Bieber applied the color to the high points of his cheeks as well as his nose, which is where I usually apply my blush. However, the color is much darker than what I normally wear and honestly, he wasn’t sure how it would look. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did it look great on my skin tone, but the formula was also creamy and blended very well.

After the blush, Bieber moves on to her eyebrows and mentions that she’s “not really a big-browed girl.” She brushes her brows, then uses Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Eyebrow Gel ($20) to hold them in place for her. This is the only case where I felt like I needed to deviate from Bieber’s course, as he used to have naturally thick brows, but after a few years of waxing, I’ve been struggling to keep the shape. I used the Milk Makeup Kush Triple Eyebrow Pen ($22) to lightly fill in my brows, then set everything in place using the same Milk brow gel as Bieber.

From there, Bieber (and I, we’re basically BFFs right now) use the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Cream Face Palette ($89) for highlights. It was his first time using a cream highlighter and honestly, I was really impressed. The look is very subtle, but it gave my face a nice glow and felt super hydrating, which is great because I have very dry skin.

For eyeshadow, Bieber mentions that she “usually doesn’t put too much” on her eyes, which immediately relieved me because I’m absolutely terrible with eyeshadow. She just uses MAC Eye Shadow in Wedge ($19) to add some color to her lids. The color is grayish brown and definitely not one that I would normally choose for myself. I usually go for warmer colors but after blending this on my lids, I was really interested in how it looked.

For lips, I tried Bieber’s favorite combination: Make Up Forever Artist Color Pencil in Anywhere Caffeine ($20) and Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk ($34). It was my first time using Make Up Forever lipstick and I immediately fell in love with it. It glided over my lips so easily, and the color was absolute perfection. On the other hand, I have had Charlotte Tilbury lipstick for years and while I love the color, I feel like the formula can be a bit drying.

To finish, I set my makeup with Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Loose Powder ($40). I pressed a small amount of powder under my eyes, on my chin, on my forehead and on my nose. This is my favorite setting powder and I love it because it doesn’t make my skin dry or flaky. Helps keep my makeup in place all day.

Once everything was finished and I stepped back to see how I looked, I instantly noticed that my makeup was exactly like the typical Bieber look. It was a little weird not using mascara, bronzer or contour, but in the end I really liked the result. When I ended up leaving the house to meet up with friends later that day, I added a few drops of mascara and some bronzer, but overall, the Bieber look took me from morning to night. I think Bieber’s makeup routine is the perfect solution for a “makeup no makeup” look, and I will definitely adopt it as my new go-to.
